We don’t think photography is just a way of capturing points in time, of storing traces of the gone by for some future rememberance. Sure, we do that, we look at old photographs and remember the time, people and the events captured by them, but we also do another thing. In reminiscing we are telling a story, a story about a certain unusual hero, about ourselves. About our ups and downs, joys and sorrows, about the times we felt lost, and of those when we found ourselves anew. We look back and remember the hopes abandoned, and dreams fulfilled. And we’re not telling the story just to others, but to ourselves as well. Through it we try to understand the paths we have walked, and the one we walk now. Through it we discover what it means to be us.
What we try to do with our photography is to help paint the heroes of the story, to make the lenses capture not just images of light, but also thoughts and feelings, character and traits. Sometimes, perhaps, even the person a hero is yet to become. We don’t like to talk much about our photography, and you’ll rarely see more than a few words from us about a photo, or a session. We like to let the images tell what needs to be told, it just feels more right to us.
So, if you like what we do, please, feel free to contact us. If you have a special request, or maybe just an idea that’s been going through your head, and you’d like to try it out, just send us a message. We’re very open to new styles and forms, and would gladly commit ourselves to making it happen.
